Fenton Northwood Carnival Art Glass Cobalt Fine Rib Swung Vase early 1900s

A timeless beauty! This is a 9.75" tall Iridescent Cobalt Blue Carnival Glass vase by Fenton. Also known as a "swung vase," these hand finished pieces of glass were molded shorter, then after being removed from the mold & reheated, swung to stretch to its final height. This example was made with the fine ribbed pattern, and has remained very clean and wonderfully iridescent over the years. This vase also showcases a nice flared angular ruffled mouth. The base is about 2 5/8" in diameter & the opening is around 3.25" wide. It is in excellent condition and the colors are stunning.
